As a new company, Mama Bear Macs came to Warbler Creative for a full brand design. We worked together to discover the brand’s homemade, warm, and fun personality and how to convey that. Chris from Mama Bear Macs knew she wanted to incorporate a mama bear with 3 baby bears in the logo, along with a macaron and flowers. We created the detailed logo mark that included the requests, as well as a simplified versatile logo for limited color or small use.
The custom Mama Bear Macs logo lettering is based off of Chris’ handwriting, to convey the handmade love in her baking. The brand utilizes a hunger-inducing and attention-grabbing warm red. A signature red check plaid is also used throughout branding to remind the viewer of picnics and baked goods. The cute bears and flowers illustrate a happy and friendly vibe, perfectly matching Chris’ customer service.
Chris wanted to stand out from the typical delicate pastel branding seen in other macaron bakeries, and instead make something more down to earth and approachable for anyone unfamiliar with the dessert.
